A Leadership Story: Shore Community Services, Inc.

Alexis India Alm, CEO Shore Community Services, Inc. came into the organization when it was 1 million dollars in the red. She saw what was right within the organization first. She capitalized on the good and then, enlisting that good to attack what needed to be changed. She realized that she had used one style to turn the organization around, another style of management to maintain the organization. This and other experiences taught her to be a lifetime learner. She does this by listening to respected people around her and continuing education courses. Ms. Alm makes lifelong learning an example to her staff. The mentor advice she shares is revealed in the video and it’s meant to be used in every decision you make as a business leader.
